PL 2026 Predict ("the app") is a free prediction app for Premier League football matches. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it. The app is built and maintained by an independent developer and is not affiliated with the Premier League, its clubs, or any official league organization.
Account data (sign-in): when you sign in with a Google or Facebook account, we receive your email, name, and profile picture from that provider. We never see or store your password — sign-in goes directly through Google/Facebook and Supabase authentication.
Content you create: your match score predictions, the name and code of private leagues you create or join, and your leaderboard rank.
Push notifications: if you allow notifications, we store a technical device token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can send you a reminder before your predictions lock. This token does not contain personal data on its own.
We do not collect location, contacts, photos from your device, or any financial/payment data — the app is completely free with no in-app payments.
We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not sell it.
Data is processed through the following services, solely to run the app itself:
Match/schedule data shown in the app comes from a public sports API (TheSportsDB) — that service never receives any of your personal data, we only pull public match results from it.
Data is stored on our server for as long as you use the app or until you request account deletion. Server access is protected, and communication with the Supabase and Firebase services uses their standard secure (HTTPS) protocols.
If you'd like your account and all associated data (predictions, league memberships, push token) permanently deleted, send a request to the email below — we'll process it as soon as possible.
The app is not specifically directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children of that age.
This policy may be updated from time to time (e.g. if ads are added in the future). The date of the last update is always shown at the top of this page.
